About Moody Homes

Donald Moody founded Moody Homes in 1953 and quickly established a reputation of building quality traditionally build properties in the Essex and Hertfordshire area specialising in new estates, building up to 1000 houses in Stevenage and Cambridge in the 1970s to 1980s and the company is now in its 60th year building smaller estates concentrating on quality and design.

As a result of his success, where his reputation for house gained excellent recognition, he received an OBE for all his house building work and the working of the House Building Federation as President.

To carry on the family tradition his daughter Jenny became involved with the business at the age of 17. In April 2016, she took over her father's company and will continue to build the high quality houses that the Moody family are proud to put their name to.
